“How to make your website win you more customers”

I came home to this message from one of the attendees this morning:

Wasn’t that nice? This was a Breakfast Briefing organised by Enterprise M3 Growth Hub for Guildford Business, with two sessions explaining how anyone can attract more business through their websites without spending a fortune.

The first session, which I presented, mapped the core marketing and selling fundamentals: markets, buyer intentions, buyer’s journey, marketing funnel and common buyer behaviour to website design and content in order to maximise traffic and engagement. It’s surprising how few websites do that!

The second session was presented by Ben Brown of Session Media, a specialist SEO agency. This was packed with incredibly valuable tips and how-tos, most of them being actions that you could do yourself, for free. Alternatively you could get Ben to do it because he would do a great job – as he demonstrated with examples of client projects (PS Ben, did you see I gave you a SEO back-link there?)

It was great to catch up with past clients, connect with current clients and meet new people at the Harbour Hotel, Guildford.  Hopefully there will be more events like this organised by EM3GH in due course.
